The dynamic modulus of HMA is a primary input for pavement design. However, usually, the measured dynamic modulus is not available in the design phase. Default or predicted dynamic modulus are commonly used for most newly built highways. In this study, comparisons have been made among dynamic modulus predictive models, i.e. Witczak model, modified Witczak model and Hirsch model, focusing on the cold region HMA.
