摘要
The inverse finite element method (iFEM), owing to its unique advantages in structural health monitoring and defect identification, has received extensive attention and application in recent years. However, the monitoring of defects in plate structures with multiple holes or multiple types of holes remains insufficiently investigated. In this study, a novel mixed interpolation inverse shell element is introduced within the iFEM framework to achieve the monitoring and localization of multiple hole defects in plate structures. The effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method are validated through case studies involving cantilever plates with multiple hole defects. The results demonstrate that the proposed approach exhibits promising application prospects in monitoring hole defects in plate structures and provides new insights for the further development of iFEM in the field of structural health monitoring.
