摘要
With the rapid surge in aeronautical traffic volume, existing aeronautical broadband communication systems are confronted with challenges such as ill-defined ground equipment functionalities, lack of standardized interface specifications, and excessive handover latency in traditional distributed networking paradigms, making it difficult to sustain the requirements of highly dynamic aeronautical scenarios. To address these issues, this paper designs and implements a ground station controller (GSC) prototype system oriented toward aeronautical broadband communications. Leveraging the 3GPP networking concepts, a GSC network element protocol architecture is constructed, and standardized signaling procedures as well as ground entity interaction protocols are meticulously designed. On this basis, the core network element functionalities, including access and mobility management, session management, and routing selection & data forwarding, are successfully realized. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system supports the collaborative management of multiple terminals and highly efficient data forwarding, thereby providing a comprehensive ground-side engineering support for next-generation aeronautical broadband communication systems.
