摘要
In this paper, we investigate and propose the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm to enhance video streaming performance in Software-Defined Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (SDN-VANETs). Furthermore, we conduct a comparative analysis of its effectiveness against other algorithms for adaptive UDP buffer size optimization, with the objective of improving the overall Quality of Service (QoS) for video transmission. Simulation results show that the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) provides optimal performance in high-mobility SDN-VANET scenarios. Its fast convergence characteristics and flexible buffer resource allocation during handovers allow ACO to maintain stable video quality, achieving more favorable performance results compared to the ABC method. Meanwhile, traditional algorithms such as PSO and DE exhibit clear limitations due to their inability to effectively handle sudden network fluctuations, leading to increased latency and data loss.
